Christmas Festivities This Week at St Vincent de Paul
Monday 16th December 2019 – Breakfast Club with Mighty Red
– 8.30-9am in the school hall
Liverpool FC’s mascot Mighty Red will be joining our breakfast club’s ‘Wake Up/Shake Up Mondays’. Why not come along and join in for a fun filled, healthy and active start to the week?
Tuesday 17th December 2019 –Parents Internet Safety Talk
– 9.15-10am in the school hall
Parents Internet Safety session with Carl Gilbertson, school governor and director of computing experts company MGL. All parents and carers are warmly invited to attend the talk and Q&A session on how we can support our children in facing the modern day challenges of the digital world.
Wednesday 18th December 2019 – St Vincent’s Santa Dash
9.15-9.45am on the school playground
St Vincent’s Santa Dash for all classes. Children require £1 to enter and will receive their own Santa hat to run in (and keep!), a gold medal chocolate coin and a certificate for taking part. Children can raise extra money for charity if they wish by completing their sponsorship forms and handing them in to the school office.
Thursday 19th December 2019 – Breakfast with Santa
-8.30-10.30am in the school hall
Children from our Nursery, Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4 classes can have their breakfast with Santa and take part in a number of fun filled Christmas activities in the school hall. Please complete the booking slip that was sent home last week and pass the £5 payment (£2.50 for each extra child if booking a place for more than one family member) in to the school office or to Miss Wenton as soon as possible to guarantee your child’s place.
Thursday 19th December 2019 – Year 5 and Year 6 Christmas Disco
– Time to be confirmed
£2 cost for disco for the children
Friday 20th December 2019 – Golden Assembly
-11am-12pm in the school hall
School closes at 12pm for the Christmas Break.
School reopens for the children on Tuesday 7th January 2020 for the start of spring term.
Monday 6th January 2020 will be a staff inset day.
