Please contact the school as soon as possible if your child is ill, especially if your child has an infectious disease. Please call the school on the telephone number (0151) 709 2572. Alternatively, you can leave a message, and a member of the admin team will call you back.
Illness at School
The normal procedure is for the school to contact parents by telephone. Arrangements will then be made for parents or a responsible adult to collect the child. The emergency contact form must be completed for each child to facilitate communication in the event that parents are unavailable. Parents will be asked to update this information annually.
For this reason, it is essential that the school is informed of any change in home details or circumstances.
Medicines
The school follows the policy and guidance on the administration of medicines as set out by the Education Authority. However, if your child needs medication, please speak to the class teacher, the admin team, or the lead first aider, Miss Shemira.
